Welcome to the Munich Postdoc Network!

The Munich Postdoc Network is an initiative from the Postdoc Associations, Postdoc Coordinators and Points of Contact for Postdocs at the Bavarian Academy of Sciences and Humanities (BAdW), the Bavarian Research Institute for Digital Transformation (bidt), Helmholtz Munich, the Hochschule München University of Applied Sciences, the LMU Faculty of Biology, the LMU Biomedical Center Munich, the Max Planck Institute (MPI) of Biochemistry, the MPI for Biological Intelligence, the MPI for Plasma Physics, the MPI of Psychiatry, the Technical University of Munich (TUM) and the University of the Bundeswehr Munich (Uni BW).
We aim to connect postdoctoral researchers working in the Munich area and facilitate communication among them. Moreover, we envision a wide collaborative organisation to identify areas of need and develop solutions to improve the postdoc experience.

We will meet at the BAdW on Monday, 1 December 2025, at 5 pm to visit the Christmas markets in the area. It will be a great opportunity to meet other postdocs and MPN members.
