Other networks and associations

The GPN mission is to improve the postdoctoral experience by creating opportunities for connection, collaboration, and identity-building. We aim to gather and disseminate crucial information, ensuring postdocs are well-informed and supported. We give a voice to postdocs to represent their interests and influence policies that impact their professional and personal development.
The Max Planck PostdocNet brings together postdoctoral researchers of the Max Planck Gesellschaft (MPG) and represents the interests of the postdoctoral community across all Max Planck Institutes (MPIs). Our goal is to improve their working conditions, scientific development and enhance the career perspectives of postdoctoral researchers. We believe that in doing so we contribute to improving the MPG as a place that fosters excellence and help maintain its position as an international hub for ground-breaking research.
PostdoCaRe Europe was founded by Postdocs for Postdocs to provide a platform for both scientific and personal exchange for those of us working in Cancer Research across Europe. In addition to organizing our own seminar, workshop and networking event series, we also like to informally share general advice and experience, job offers, and invitations to events organized by our respective institutes.  We are "self-governed", and everyone is welcome to join!
"Max Planck is everywhere!" We want to make use of this fact to connect alumni all over the world - regardless of where they are - by setting up a global network of former employees across the scientific disciplines, a platform for sharing both professional and personal experiences.
One of our goals is to  serve as a networking platform for researchers, facilitate collaborations, disseminate science  or  suggest improvements to the Spanish R & D & I system.
